Open-pit iron mining book review

Here is a brief review of Open-pit iron mining, milling, and costs, Groveland Mine, the Hanna Mining Co., Dickinson County, Mich. by Leonard F. Heising. This book was made from the digital images scanned during the University of Michigan University Library's enormous digitization efforts. The makers strifes to preserve the intellectual content of items in a manner that allows for a variety of uses. The digital
reformatting process resulted in an electronic version of the originally scanned texts that can be both accessed online and used to create new print copies. The Library also understood and values the utility of print and makes reprints available to the public whenever possible. In this facsimile version feasibility studies of open pit iron mining operations in groveland are presented. This is of interest to the practicioner of mining or mine engineering students.
